Green Star Environmental is a multi-faceted environmental consulting firm
based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Green Star offers expertise in the areas
of subsurface assessments of soil and groundwater, Brownfields development,
remediation services, risk assessment, acquisition due diligence, air quality
and permitting, and regulatory compliance services. Green Star was founded
to promote environmental excellence by integrating high-level technical expertise
with client service for the regulated community. Our focus is to establish
long-term relationships built on mutual trust with our clients and our employees.
Green Star is a business focussed on the area of environmental consulting
for the regulated community. Currently, our initiatives for implementing sustainable
practices are modest, but are good steps for an office environment. Our current
sustainable practices include recyling programs for office paper as well as
recyclable consumable goods including plastics, glass, aluminum and tin. We also
channel a portion of our office supply purchases to recycled and reuseable products
including toner cartridges and some paper products.
Our employees actively participate in our recycling program by transporting
the items for recycling. Our employees regularly communicate about local recycling
events for household hazardous waste and electronic recycling. These practices
have largely happened because of our employees' commitment to the environment
and sustainable practices, which we believe coincides with qualities that motivate
individuals to become part of an environmental consulting community.
In the future, we are also looking for new opportunities to promote
and implement sustainable practices as more opportunities present themselves.
