Waste cooking oil collected from fast food restaurants and other feedstock are
processed in the facility to produce a fuel that is mixed with standard diesel to produce
“B20” which consists of 20% Biodiesel and 80% standard diesel. The City of Denton sanitation
trucks all run on this fuel. Heat required for the refining process is produced by burning
methane drawn from the City of Denton landfill, which is why the facility is sited at the landfill. |
